Meeting Old Friends After Ages
SJC was probably one of the best things that ever happened to me.
This was the only place throughout my education where I was accepted the way I am. By the teachers and the students. It was especially important for me at that point because people who were supposed to stand by me kind of abandoned me for the choices that I had made. Life and people at SJC gave me a certain kind of hope that I hold onto even today.
And this is where I made some of the best friends in my life. In fact, out of those 17 people in my life who I sincerely like, as I mentioned in one of my earlier posts, 10 are from SJC, even though I am not in touch with most of them.
Got in touch with these two recently. After more than 4 years. And yet, it was so easy to pick up from where we had left off. Priceless feeling.
The one on the left shared her lunch with me when I was broke or too busy with an assignment to go to the canteen to grab a bite. The one on the right fed me with her own hands when I was typing a story/article.
I can’t thank them enough for making my otherwise difficult life so easy. I owe you a lot. And it’s great to have you back…
